Job Summary
To support data-driven decision-making, the full-time remote Data Engineer II will build and maintain reliable data pipelines, manage data engineering projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the data platform's efficiency and scalability.
Key responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and improve data pipelines that ingest, transform, and deliver data across the platform
- Own data engineering projects from implementation through production support, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
- Utilize tools such as Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow to support production workloads and enhance data quality practices
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in software or data engineering with a focus on production data systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or another general-purpose language, along with strong SQL skills
- Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake or BigQuery
- Understanding of data modeling, data quality, and performance optimization techniques
