Data Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting a large-scale migration of marketing datasets to the Microsoft Fabric platform, the remote Data Engineer will manage data transformation, develop ETL/ELT processes, and create scalable data solutions over a 6-month contract.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage Azure Data Factory pipelines for data integration and migration
- Utilize Microsoft Fabric and PySpark for data processing and transformation tasks
- Monitor and support production batch/data jobs to ensure system reliability and performance
Required qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Factory
- Strong knowledge of PySpark for data processing and transformation
- Experience with data migration and modernization projects
- Proficient in SQL and data modeling concepts
- Familiarity with Power BI dataset development and reporting support
