Data Engineer
Job Summary
Building and scaling a next-generation data platform, the full-time Data Engineer will design and implement AI-assisted data pipelines and distributed systems remotely, transitioning from legacy processes to a cloud-native architecture on AWS and Databricks.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data-ingestion pipelines using AWS services and Azure DevOps
- Develop data mapping and transformation workflows for SQL Server client databases
- Collaborate with analytics teams to ensure data availability and quality for reporting and machine learning use cases
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years in Data Engineering or a related role
- Strong experience with AWS services for data engineering (e.g., S3, Lambda, Glue)
- Proficiency in Python and/or C# .NET for data processing and integration
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server and relational database concepts
