Data Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting a high-volume investments data roadmap, the remote contract Data Engineer will build and maintain data pipelines in Snowflake, transform raw data into usable models, and partner with stakeholders on data requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain data pipelines in Snowflake
- Transform and curate raw source data into usable data models and reporting datasets
- Support integrations with external platforms, including BlackRock and State Street
Required qualifications
- Strong hands-on Snowflake experience
- Experience with dbt and SQL development
- Background in data engineering, including data modeling and production data pipelines
- Familiarity with financial-services data preferred
- Experience with vendor-hosted/SaaS data platforms and SFTP-based integrations
