Data Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract basis, the Data Engineer will focus on Snowflake database management, Azure application development, and building user interfaces while ensuring data integration and pipeline efficiency.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and manage Snowflake databases, including creating tables, views, and complex SQL queries
- Build and maintain Azure Data Factory pipelines and integrate applications with various data sources
- Design and implement user interfaces using React.js, Angular, or similar frameworks while ensuring web application security
Required qualifications:
- Strong experience with Snowflake schema design and SQL query optimization
- Proficiency in Azure Web Application development and backend API development using .NET Core, Node.js, or Python FastAPI
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and data integration patterns
- Knowledge of web application security protocols, including OAuth and JWT
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based source control
