Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support data transformation initiatives, the hybrid AVP, Data Engineer will ingest and transform replicated source data into consumable data products for the Reporting team and other users, utilizing expertise in Data Modeling and Data Pipeline development.
Key responsibilities
- Translate requirements and data mapping documents into technical designs
- Develop SQL and pipeline solutions using dbt and Dagster
- Debug and troubleshoot issues during testing or production phases
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of Data Engineering experience with enterprise data platforms
- Strong expertise in SQL, Python, and dbt for large-scale ETL/ELT solutions
- Hands-on experience with Dagster, Airflow, or similar workflow orchestration tools
- Deep understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices in data engineering
