Job Summary
Supporting CAKS applications and data sources, the contract Data Engineer will design and maintain reliable data flows, validate data quality, and troubleshoot production issues while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design and maintain reliable data flows for CAKS applications and data sources
- Validate data quality and troubleshoot production issues related to data pipelines
- Support application and data integrations, ensuring accurate data movement
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or application analysis
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience programming in SQL
- 3+ years of experience building and maintaining automated data pipelines using batch and/or streaming processes
- Experience with data integration, movement, validation, and troubleshooting metadata and ingestion issues
