Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing product-driven startup, the full-time remote Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain data pipelines while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and reliable data flow for analytics and operational platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using Airflow and Trino for data ingestion and processing
- Implement monitoring, validation, and alerting for pipelines to enhance observability and data accuracy
- Collaborate with Product Analytics, Data Architecture, and Engineering teams to define and deliver data requirements effectively
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
- Hands-on experience with Airflow, OLAP databases, and data processing frameworks such as ClickHouse and Trino
- Solid understanding of data modeling and engineering best practices
- Familiarity with event-based data architectures and streaming technologies
