Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support data migration and engineering initiatives, the full-time Data Engineer will analyze Oracle databases, design Snowflake solutions, and develop SQL queries while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze Oracle databases and ETL processes to support migration planning and implement Snowflake-based data solutions
- Gather and document business requirements, conducting gap analyses and translating them into technical designs
- Develop reconciliation processes and validate migration results while identifying opportunities for automation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related discipline
- At least 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or analytics engineering
- Strong expertise in SQL development and query optimization
- Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions
- Demonstrated experience with data migration and gap analyses
