Job Summary
A company in the Information Technology industry is seeking a Data Engineer.
Position Responsibilities
- Manage and improve the company's data pipeline from collection to analysis to decision-making
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to answer important business questions using data-driven insights
- Build and nurture a strong data-driven culture within the company
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in a data engineering, data science, or analyst role at a high-growth or early-stage startup or equivalent open-source/personal project work
- Expert SQL skills and familiarity with modern data tools such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Metabase, dbt or their equivalents
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
- Autonomous and able to prioritize initiatives that deliver the most impact to the company
