Data Engineer - AI & Analytics

Job Summary

To support a high-impact team, the contract Data Engineer - AI & Analytics will work remotely for 5 months, focusing on designing scalable data platforms, building modern data pipelines, and transforming complex data into AI-ready assets.

Key responsibilities

• Assess customer data environments to evaluate data quality and AI/ML readiness
• Design, build, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines across various data sources
• Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to deliver scalable data solutions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or cloud data platforms
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL for enterprise data engineering
• Experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, or similar cloud data platforms
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT pipelines across structured and streaming data sources
