Data Engineer (Azure)
Job Summary
To support large-scale data integration and analytics, the remote Data Engineer (Azure) will design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT solutions using Azure technologies while providing technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT solutions using Azure Databricks and Apache Spark
- Build and deploy large-scale data pipelines for analytics, machine learning, and reporting
- Integrate structured and unstructured data from various sources and improve data platform quality
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering and data integration
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Python and 2+ years with SQL
- At least 2 years of experience with Azure Databricks and event-driven processing
- Practical experience with Terraform-based DevOps automation and CI/CD tools
- Strong understanding of data modeling and ETL/ELT processes
