Data Engineer (Azure)
Job Summary
To support the migration of the Azure-Synapse enterprise data warehouse, the full-time remote Data Engineer (Azure) will design, build, and maintain scalable Lakehouse and data warehouse solutions while ensuring data quality and integration across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable Lakehouse and data warehouse solutions on Microsoft Fabric and Azure Synapse
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for seamless data integration from diverse sources
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into effective data solutions
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of hands-on experience in data warehouse or data engineering roles
- Practical experience with Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure Databricks
- Strong SQL skills along with Python and/or scripting for automation and tooling
- Proven experience building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines and data models
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams
