Data Engineer for Neurology

Job Summary

To support the development of an AI biomedical research platform, the full-time remote Data Engineer for Neurology will design, build, and maintain data ingestion pipelines, manage cloud infrastructure, and ensure data quality for multi-modal neurodegeneration datasets.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and maintain scalable data ingestion pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows for diverse datasets
• Manage and optimize cloud data infrastructure, ensuring compliance with data governance policies
• Implement data harmonization procedures and quality validation checks for integration of multi-source datasets

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Bioinformatics, Engineering, or a related field
• Three years of hands-on data engineering experience, including pipeline design and development
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in cloud data platforms (Microsoft Azure preferred)
• Experience with complex, multi-source datasets requiring integration and quality validation
• Demonstrated knowledge of neurodegeneration or Alzheimer's disease research datasets
