Data Engineer I

Job Summary

To support the development of data-centric applications, the full-time remote Data Engineer I will design and build scalable data pipelines, automate production processes, and ensure the reliability and security of the enterprise data platform while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Automate and monitor batch/streaming ELT/ETL pipelines across cloud services and Snowflake
• Triaging failures and performing root-cause analyses to reduce mean time to recovery (MTTR)
• Build operational automation using SQL, Python, and shell scripting on Linux

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 1 or more years of related experience with Snowflake and cloud data platforms
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with Python and shell scripting (Bash/PowerShell)
• Solid understanding of OLAP/dimensional modeling and RDBMS fundamentals
• Experience building and managing data ingestion pipelines from multiple sources
