Data Engineer I

Job Summary

To support the development of data-centric applications in a remote environment, the full-time salaried Data Engineer I will design and build scalable data pipelines, automate production processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance healthcare workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Automate and monitor ELT/ETL pipelines across cloud services and Snowflake to ensure data accuracy
• Perform root-cause analyses and triage failures to continuously reduce mean time to recovery (MTTR)
• Build operational automation using SQL, Python, and shell scripting on Linux while enforcing access controls and compliance needs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• At least 1 year of experience with Snowflake, CTRL-M, and ADF
• Strong SQL skills along with hands-on experience in Python and shell scripting (Bash/PowerShell)
• Experience with cloud computing and data warehousing on relational platforms
• Solid understanding of OLAP/dimensional modeling and RDBMS fundamentals
