Data Engineer I

Job Summary

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the full-time Data Engineer I will design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and databases while analyzing healthcare data to drive informed decisions remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and workflows for data collection and transformation
• Analyze healthcare claims data to identify patterns and generate reports, dashboards, and visualizations for stakeholders
• Collaborate with teams to understand business requirements and implement effective data solutions

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in healthcare administration, data science, statistics, or equivalent experience preferred
• 2+ years of experience as a data analyst in the healthcare industry, preferably in claims
• Strong proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Python, R, or Excel
• Familiarity with data modeling, database management, and cloud-based data solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Knowledge of health data analytics, US healthcare policy, and multi-payer databases
