Job Summary
Supporting the development and maintenance of data warehouses, the full-time remote Data Engineer I will design and implement data solutions using Snowflake and AWS, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data accessibility for research and operational needs.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement Snowflake-based data solutions aligned with business requirements
- Collaborate with other data engineers to optimize ELT/ETL pipelines using tools like Matillion and Snowflake
- Provide on-call production support and document technical specifications and data models
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including object development and performance tuning
- Proficiency in AWS services such as S3, EC2, and Lambda
- Experience in SQL development for various database systems
- Knowledge of Python for data manipulation and orchestration
