Data Engineer I
Job Summary
To support the healthcare system, the full-time remote Data Engineer I will design and develop data-centric applications, build scalable data pipelines, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring the reliability and security of the enterprise data platform.
Key responsibilities
- Automate and monitor batch/streaming ELT/ETL pipelines across cloud services and Snowflake
- Perform root-cause analyses and triage failures to continuously reduce mean time to recovery (MTTR)
- Collaborate with product and analytics teams, documenting procedures and providing reliable on-call support
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- At least 1 year of experience with Snowflake, CTRL-M, and ADF
- Strong SQL and hands-on experience with Python and shell scripting on Linux
- Experience in cloud computing and data warehousing on relational platforms
- Solid understanding of OLAP/dimensional modeling and RDBMS fundamentals
