Job Summary
A company is looking for a Data Engineer II
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate as the bridge between engineering and finance teams, contributing to integral processes
- Own the business logic in the data pipeline, critical to the success of the business
- Provide valuable insights to high-level contacts at hedge funds, banks, and asset originators
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional experience writing production-ready code in Python, Scala, Java, or R
- 2+ years of experience working directly with data pipelines, preferably related to loans
- Experience with big data tools and processing frameworks for large datasets
- Knowledge of relational data concepts and proficient in SQL for data exploration
- Interest and experience in both engineering and finance, understanding loan portfolios and financial complexities
