Data Engineer II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Engineer II to work on data systems and services critical to its business.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, scale, and maintain data pipelines from various source systems according to business and technical requirements
• Improve the codebase and participate in all aspects of the team, including agile ceremonies
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to understand data needs and troubleshoot production issues

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of applied experience in Data Engineering, including building Data Pipelines and Data Modeling
• Programming skills in Python, Java, Scala, and SQL, with experience in writing reusable code
• Experience in Data Warehousing and working with various data sources such as APIs and real-time feeds
• Experience with AWS data management tools and building near Real Time & Batch Data Pipelines
