Data Engineer II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Engineer II responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain data integration procedures, pipelines, and frameworks for data platforms
• Conduct performance tuning of data pipelines and SQL queries while overseeing data deliverables
• Collaborate with Product Owners and provide technical support for production incidents

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related field
• Five years of experience in a related role (or three years with a Master's degree)
• Experience with SQL queries, big data systems, and programming in Python or PySpark
• Familiarity with ETL tools and scheduling tools
• Knowledge of System Life Cycle Development methodologies (Waterfall and Agile)
