Data Engineer II

Job Summary

Contributing to solution design architecture, the full-time salaried Data Engineer II will manage data governance engineering programs, develop metadata catalogs, and promote data quality practices while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead data stewardship workgroups and champion metadata and data quality practices across the organization
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop business rules and remediation plans for data quality issues
• Perform analysis to support the development of glossary definitions, policies, and workflows related to data management

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
• Minimum of three years of experience in designing and developing ETL and/or BI solutions
• Demonstrable experience in all stages of complex database, ETL, and BI solution development
• Proven ability to write complex SQL queries and manage medium to large scale projects
• Healthcare payer experience is preferred
