Data Engineer II

Job Summary

To support a key business initiative, the contract-to-hire Data Engineer II will develop and operationalize data pipelines, focusing on data ingestion, transformation, and quality, while working remotely and utilizing strong SQL, Teradata, and Git skills in an Agile Scrum environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Develops and maintains data pipelines to ensure data availability for reporting and analytics
• Independently writes complex SQL queries and performs daily Git operations
• Collaborates with the DevSecOps Engineer during continuous integration and deployment processes

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field
• 2+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles
• Proven expertise in SQL and Teradata
• Experience with Git/source control in an Agile environment
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
