Data Engineer II

Job Summary

Building and maintaining production ETL pipelines, the full-time salaried Data Engineer II will work on data-sharing frameworks and governance systems across various data sources while contributing to data mesh patterns and AI-ready pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain production ETL pipelines ingesting data from multiple sources
• Design and implement data-sharing patterns and access controls across organizational boundaries
• Develop and maintain data governance solutions, including lineage, cataloging, and compliance

Required qualifications

• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in relevant fields OR Bachelor's Degree in the same fields AND 2+ years of experience
• Experience designing and building production data solutions including ETL/data pipelines or BI/reporting systems
• Proficiency with PySpark, SQL, and Python, including data modeling and pipeline development
• Experience building or supporting REST APIs or data services, including schema design and operations
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or modern data platforms, including Azure Data Factory and Databricks
