Data Engineer II

Job Summary

Designing and maintaining data pipelines, the full-time remote Data Engineer II will build and optimize infrastructure for data ingestion, curation, and delivery while collaborating with analytics teams to enhance data accessibility and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Designs and develops ETL packages and queries to support data analysis and reporting needs
• Collaborates with business teams to improve data models that enhance decision-making capabilities
• Takes ownership of data platform health by implementing monitoring processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of experience in a Data Engineer role or similar position
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with a general-purpose programming language, preferably Python
• Professional experience in cloud data ecosystems, preferably Azure
• Experience with ETL and data pipeline development
