Data Engineer II

Job Summary

Designing, developing, and supporting integration processes and data warehouse activities, the full-time remote Data Engineer II will translate business requirements into technical specifications, manage data pipelines, and mentor junior team members while utilizing various data tools and technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Code, test, and implement integration software for ETL solutions, ensuring efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading
• Debug and troubleshoot production job errors, providing necessary support for data pipeline operations
• Produce comprehensive documentation for development processes, policies, and procedures while participating in project planning and status meetings

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required
• At least 2 years of experience with Data Lake House or Enterprise Data
• Minimum 2 years of database development experience using Python, SQL, PL/SQL, or Bash
• 2 years of experience with Big Data technologies such as Data Bricks or Apache Spark
• 1 year of experience with cloud technologies like Azure or AWS is preferred
