Data Engineer II
Job Summary
To support the Data Engineering team, the remote Data Engineer II will build and maintain data models, improve pipeline infrastructure, and ensure data reliability for finance-critical processes while participating in an on-call rotation.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain data models in SQLMesh, including incremental strategies and documentation
- Participate in on-call rotation to triage and resolve incidents related to data availability and ETL failures
- Extend and maintain pipelines for creator payouts and GAAP-compliant revenue reporting across product lines
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on data engineering experience in a production environment
- Proficiency in SQL window functions, CTEs, and query optimization
- Experience with Python for data transformation and pipeline logic
- Familiarity with modern transformation frameworks like SQLMesh or dbt
- Production experience with cloud data warehouses, specifically BigQuery
