Data Engineer II
Job Summary
To support healthcare improvement initiatives, the full-time remote Data Engineer II will design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and analytical frameworks while collaborating with cross-functional teams to address data-related challenges.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and workflows for data collection and transformation
- Analyze healthcare claims data to identify patterns and generate reports and visualizations for stakeholders
- Collaborate with teams to translate business requirements into effective data solutions
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in healthcare administration, data science, statistics, or equivalent experience preferred
- 5+ years of experience in SQL and as a data analyst in the healthcare industry, preferably in claims
- Deep knowledge of health data, multi-payer databases, and claims data analytics
- Expertise in data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Python, R, and Tableau or Power BI
- Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions and data modeling concepts
