Data Engineer II
Job Summary
To support a growing data engineering team, the contract-to-hire Data Engineer II will work remotely, focusing on data extraction, preparation, and delivery using SQL and Teradata, while managing Git workflows and collaborating in an agile scrum environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and operationalize data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and quality assurance
- Independently write complex SQL queries including multi-table joins, subqueries, and aggregations
- Configure new Medicaid plans onto the standardized processing platform and track performance through Jira and Git commits
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field
- 2+ years of experience in data engineering with strong SQL skills
- Proficiency in Teradata, including FastLoad and MultiLoad
- Experience with Git workflows and source code management
- Familiarity with agile scrum methodologies
