Job Summary
Leading the development of data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, the full-time Data Engineer II will ensure data quality and accessibility for library operations while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the design, production, and maintenance of software infrastructure for ETL processes across library operations
- Collaborate with stakeholders to document data pipelines and ensure data quality through monitoring and troubleshooting
- Develop tools for capturing and normalizing research and library collections data for accessibility and analysis
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Five years of experience in database management and design, along with business requirement gathering
- Proficiency in developing ETL processes using SQL and experience with data validation and quality assurance
- Experience with bibliographic metadata standards such as MARC and Dublin Core
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools like Power BI and Tableau
