Data Engineer III

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Engineer III to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and systems for data products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure using AWS, Python, Databricks, Spark, and SQL databases
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business problems into technical solutions and mentor junior data engineers
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure data quality and integrity, while implementing best practices in data engineering

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
• At least five years of experience in data engineering or a similar role
• Expert-level skills in Python, SQL databases like PostgreSQL, and big data technologies such as Databricks and Spark
• Hands-on experience building cloud resident data pipelines in AWS
• Strong understanding of data governance, security, privacy, and retention policies
