Data Engineer III

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Engineer III to lead the development and maintenance of data infrastructure and tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and improvement of advanced data engineering solutions and pipelines
• Establish data quality standards, including automated tests and anomaly detection
• Build and govern canonical dbt models in Snowflake, ensuring consistent metric definitions and entity relationships

Required Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of data engineering experience with ELT pipelines and dimensional data models
• Advanced SQL query skills with complex joins and common-table expressions
• Strong hands-on Snowflake experience
• Proficiency with dbt model development, testing, and project governance
