Job Summary
Seeking a full-time remote Data Engineer III, the candidate will design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and architectures to support data-driven decision-making, ensuring clean and reliable data availability for analytics and reporting.
Key responsibilities:
- Architect, build, and optimize data pipelines, lakes, and warehouse environments for efficient data ingestion
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes using tools like Azure Data Factory and SSIS, while monitoring for performance and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and prioritize projects, ensuring alignment with business goals
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 5+ years of data engineering experience with a focus on Microsoft BI and data platform tools
- Strong SQL knowledge and experience with ETL/ELT tools such as SSIS and Azure Data Factory
- Familiarity with Power BI and exposure to Microsoft Fabric or similar platforms
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, and proficiency in a programming or scripting language
