Data Engineer III
Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract basis, the Data Engineer III will design, develop, and maintain complex data ingestion pipelines into Snowflake while collaborating with the Digital team and adhering to established software development and data security standards.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with the Digital team to create and manage data ingestion pipelines into Snowflake
- Develop ETL processes and implement data obfuscation to protect sensitive information
- Monitor and troubleshoot data quality and ingestion issues throughout the development lifecycle
Required qualifications
- 8 years of professional experience in Data Engineering
- Strong knowledge of software development, SDLC, and CI/CD processes
- Experience with data ingestion and pipeline development using tools like Kafka and relational databases
- Proficiency in ETL tools and experience with AWS services, Snowflake, and Spark
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
