Data Engineer III
Job Summary
To support a growing team of analytics experts, the full-time Data Engineer III will create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture, assemble complex data sets, and implement internal process improvements while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture
- Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements to optimize data delivery and scalability
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (B.S/B.A) and 5 to 8 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency in programming languages such as SAS, Python, Java, and MatLab
- Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with data warehousing technologies like Hadoop, MapReduce, HIVE, and Presto
