Data Engineer - Insurance Domain
Job Summary
Leading initiatives in modernizing enterprise data platforms, the contract Data Engineer - Insurance Domain will design, build, and optimize complex data migration pipelines and Data Vault 2.0 architectures while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and implement Data Vault 2.0 constructs (Hubs, Links, Satellites) across complex data environments
- Build automated ETL/ELT pipelines leveraging Medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers)
- Create detailed source-to-target mappings, schema definitions, and transformation logic for insurance policy, claims, and financial data
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of dedicated experience in Data Modeling and Data Migration engineering
- Proven expertise designing and building Data Vault 2.0 models
- Solid domain knowledge in Insurance data systems (claims, policy, financial reporting)
- Strong technical background in modern data processing architectures (Medallion/Lakehouse)
