Data Engineer Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Engineer, Data (Tech Lead).

Key Responsibilities

• Spearhead a team of engineers, providing guidance and technical oversight for project milestones
• Architect and evolve scalable data pipelines using Python (PySpark) on Databricks
• Mentor data engineers and drive performance optimization, cost efficiency, and system reliability

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering or backend/platform engineering
• Strong expertise in Python with hands-on experience using PySpark
• Proven experience designing and operating production systems in Databricks
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and distributed computing
