Data Engineer Lead or Consultant

Job Summary

A company in the Information Technology industry is seeking a Data Engineer Lead or Consultant

Position Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and data pipeline infrastructure
• Collaborate with peers to develop scalable and testable technical solutions using cloud services and infrastructure
• Challenge the status quo to drive innovation, efficiency, quality, and automation opportunities

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study and minimum of five years of work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs or applications
• Experience with AWS and services (i.e., EC2, AMI, ECR, IAM) and cloud service tools like Snowflake
• Knowledge and experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools preferably such as Terraform (or Ansible or related)
• Experience with data replication, orchestration, and transformation tools (e.g., HVR, Prefect, dbt, or similar tech stack)
• Experience with other relevant tools used in data engineering (e.g., SQL, GIT, etc.)
