Data Engineer - MDM

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on, collaborative Data Engineer - MDM for a long-term contract role based in Charlotte, NC, who will design and implement scalable cloud-native data architectures on AWS, manage data pipelines, and build APIs to support analytics and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure data pipelines and cloud-native architectures on AWS
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT workflows using AWS Glue, Lambda, and Python for data integration needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement reusable data models and ensure data quality

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in data architecture, engineering, or similar roles
• 3+ years of hands-on programming experience with Python
• Proficient with AWS services including Lambda, Glue, S3, DynamoDB, Athena, Redshift, and Snowflake
• Strong SQL skills and experience building and managing ETL/ELT data pipelines
