Data Engineer Microsoft Fabric

Job Summary

To support a major data architecture modernization for a key client in the Biotech industry, the full-time remote Data Engineer Microsoft Fabric will architect and implement the migration from Azure to Microsoft Fabric, optimize platform performance, and integrate GXP manufacturing and quality data streams for regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement the migration of the analytics environment from Azure to Microsoft Fabric
• Integrate GXP manufacturing and quality data streams into the platform to enhance regulatory compliance capabilities
• Build and optimize scalable data integration pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Microsoft Fabric features

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience with deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric and the Azure ecosystem
• Proven track record of architecting and executing migrations from traditional Azure data architectures to Microsoft Fabric
• Experience integrating GXP manufacturing and quality data into cloud platforms within the Biotech/Life Sciences sector
• Deep understanding of SDLC/Agile and Azure DevOps for CI/CD and artifact management
• Certifications such as Azure Data Engineer Associate and Fabric Data Engineer Associate are preferred
