Data Engineer - Ohio Licensed

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time salaried Senior Analyst - Data Engineer licensed in Ohio, this remote position will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure technologies to support analytics, reporting, and operational insights across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Factory
• Ingest and transform data into the Bronze and Silver layers of a Medallion Architecture
• Implement data quality checks and collaborate with BI developers and data scientists to ensure trusted datasets

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional experience as a Microsoft Data Engineer or similar role
• Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and building data pipelines with Azure Data Factory
• Practical experience implementing Medallion Architecture, specifically Bronze and Silver layers
• Strong SQL skills and experience using Spark/PySpark
• Experience working with Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2
