Data Engineer (Snowflake)
Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the full-time salaried Data Engineer (Snowflake) will design, build, and maintain data pipelines and workflows remotely, enabling clients to effectively utilize their data.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines that ingest, transform, and deliver data from various sources into Snowflake
- Collaborate with client architects and analysts to optimize data workflows and explain technical tradeoffs
- Integrate pipeline development with version control and CI/CD practices to ensure efficient deployments and change tracking
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in data engineering or related roles
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake in a production environment
- Proficiency in Python or another programming/scripting language
- Experience with ETL/ELT principles and data warehousing concepts
- Familiarity with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
