Job Summary
Data Engineer - Tennessee Licensed is a full-time remote position requiring expertise in Azure Databricks and healthcare data processing to design and implement secure data pipelines and ingestion frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable data processing pipelines using Azure Databricks and Delta Lake
- Develop and operate data pipelines leveraging Azure services for secure data handling and observability
- Design and implement secure PHI pipelines compliant with healthcare regulations
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in modern data engineering roles
- Expert-level proficiency in PySpark, Spark SQL, and Databricks
- Strong experience with healthcare data formats like FHIR and HL7
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and data partitioning strategies
- Experience with Azure Data Factory or Azure Synapse Pipelines
