Data Engineer with AWS Focus

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Engineer (DataOps & Infrastructure Focus) to design and automate data infrastructure on AWS.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, automate, and maintain production-grade data infrastructure on AWS with a focus on high availability and security
• Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for data products, ensuring reliable delivery of governed data assets
• Operationalize security and compliance best practices in a regulated environment, partnering with product and data science teams

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Operations, or Platform Engineering
• Deep proficiency with AWS services and infrastructure-as-code tools, preferably Terraform
• Strong experience with dbt in production and modern table formats like Apache Iceberg
• Advanced SQL skills and solid Python experience for automation and data engineering tasks
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark for large-scale workloads and proven track record of building CI/CD pipelines
