Data Engineer with IRS Clearance

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Engineer to support a classified project for the IRS, working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Support ECS/EAD data engineering efforts focusing on automation and repeatable data processing workflows
• Build automated data validation routines, ETL test harnesses, and monitoring scripts for pipeline reliability and data integrity
• Implement ingestion and transformation components, integrate with cloud data services, and resolve pipeline defects

Required Qualifications

• Active IRS MBI Clearance and current GFE required
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field with 2 years of experience, or 6 years of experience without a degree
• US Citizenship required
• Experience with Python, SQL, ETL/ELT development, and cloud data services (AWS/Azure)
• Prior experience working on Agile teams
