Data Engineer with Microsoft Fabric

Job Summary

To support the migration of an Azure-Synapse enterprise data warehouse, the full-time remote Data Engineer with Microsoft Fabric will design, build, and maintain scalable Lakehouse solutions while ensuring data quality and integration across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable Lakehouse and data warehouse solutions on Microsoft Fabric and Azure Synapse
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for seamless data integration from diverse sources
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into effective Lakehouse/warehouse solutions

Required qualifications

• 2-5 years of hands-on experience in data warehouse/data engineering roles
• Practical experience with Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure Databricks
• Strong SQL skills along with Python and/or scripting for automation
• Proven experience in building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines and data models
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams
