Data Engineer with Oracle BI

Job Summary

To support enterprise data initiatives, the remote contract Data Engineer with Oracle BI will design, develop, and govern semantic data models, translating complex business requirements into structured formats that enhance BI and analytics capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and govern enterprise semantic data models that define business entities, attributes, and relationships
• Translate business requirements into conceptual and logical model designs aligned with enterprise data architecture
• Develop ontology-driven structures and document semantic assets for governance and data quality

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data architecture, modeling, or related data management roles
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with logical, physical, and semantic data models
• Strong understanding of semantic modeling concepts and ontology principles
• Experience with semantic web standards such as RDF, OWL, and SPARQL
• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with cloud-based data platforms like Azure or Snowflake
