Data Engineer with Secret Clearance

Job Summary

Supporting a global implementation of IT systems at the Department of State, the full-time Data Engineer with Secret Clearance will review and enhance data policies, processes, and standards while collecting, transforming, and analyzing data to drive data-driven decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data governance documentation, tools, and templates
• Define data requirements and ensure the coherence and availability of electronically stored information
• Develop data pipelines for collecting, transforming, and validating data from multiple sources

Required qualifications

• Active and maintained Secret Federal or DoD security clearance
• Bachelor's degree
• Three (3) years of experience in hands-on data engineering and/or database management
• Experience using Palantir Foundry for data integration and transformation
• Experience reading and cleaning data from external tables into relational databases
