Data Engineer with Security Clearance

Job Summary

To build and support secure, high-performing enterprise data pipelines, the full-time remote Data Engineer with Security Clearance will design, develop, and maintain complex ETL processes while utilizing strong Unix/Linux and Bash/Python scripting skills.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex ETL processes for enterprise data integration and reporting
• Develop, test, debug, and optimize scripts in Bash and Python within Unix and Linux environments
• Monitor ETL jobs, troubleshoot failures, and ensure adherence to security policies and data governance standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in developing and supporting ETL processes or data integration solutions
• Strong experience working in Unix and Linux environments
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining scripts in Bash and Python
• Active Secret Security Clearance and DoD 8570-compliant certification (Security+ or equivalent) required
